As an entrepreneur I started:-
- a chain of pharmacies that I later partnered with SPAR to create the Pharmacy at SPAR
- a boutique software company that specialised in Microsoft IT solutions. After two years nominated by Microsoft as one of four independent software vendors investing R100m in each.
- After seeing a TV commercial about an entrepreneur who creates a business from scratch selling boerewors rolls creating a multimillion rand empire I registered the trade mark Vuyo, the “beeg beeg dreamer”. It became the only company in the world that was started based on a TV advert and the business I am most passionate about.
After spending 7 years at a world’s leading multinational Microsoft I completed my Masters Degree in Business from Wits University and simultaneously completed a post graduate business diploma from GIBS Business School. Armed with both theoretical and practical knowledge I ventured to start my own businesses.
